Task Force

Murray Aikins Dining Hall and Case GreenThe Master Planning process will be guided at the highest level by a steering committee that will consist of the President’s Cabinet, joined by the vice-chair of the Institutional Policy and Planning (IPPC) committee. 

The week-in, week-out work will be led by a task force that will be co-chaired by Pat Fehling, associate dean of the college and Dan Rodecker, Director of Facilities.  It will include 2 faculty members, 1 student and 1 staff member, as well as representatives in the areas of diversity, sustainability, and student affairs.  The task force will coordinate with working groups in many areas across the campus.

Steering Committee

Provides guiding principles and parameters to the master planner, responds to progress reports and makes the final decisions about the master plan to be presented the Board for approval.

Campus Master Plan Task Force

Coordinates and provides information to master planner about programmatic needs including amount and type of space needed or desired and preferred adjacencies or compatibilities. Works with master planner to develop robust process for wide-ranging community engagement and participation on master planning process, including regular updates to the community. Establishes/creates working groups as needed.
