Elizabeth oversees all strategic communications and marketing initiatives for the College and serves as strategic adviser to the president and senior staff. She leads the Office of Communications and Marketing in the development and implementation of strategic communications and marketing plans, media and external relations, internal communications, news and content development, web programming and design, and brand promotion and development. Elizabeth joined Skidmore in 2023. 

Stauderman formerly served as vice president for communications at the University of Rochester from 2015 to 2022, overseeing all media, public relations, and communications matters, including strategy and crisis communications. Previously, she held multiple positions at Yale University, including chief communications officer and special assistant to the president. She holds a bachelor's in history from Yale University and a master's in law studies from Yale Law School.
