Kim Newsom has worked at Skidmore for 20 years and is currently the academic administrative assistant for the Computer Science Department and the Mathematics and Statistics Department. As administrative assistant, Kim serves the faculty and students in a wide variety of ways. She provides essential support for the two departments and is generally the first person to ask when anyone has a question about curricular or departmental manners. Previously, she was the administrative assistant in Physics, Geosciences, Neuroscience, Asian Studies and Skidmore College’s Office of International Programs (now OCSE). Kim has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Iowa State University with a major in marketing.
