This is the remote control unit for the Otari MX7070 16 track tape recorder. Use this remote control (sometimes called an "autolocator") to place tracks into record mode, or playback mode (called reproduce on the machine), or "sync" mode (labeled "sel rep" on the unit).

**USE "ALL REPRO" mode if you are trying to mix**

**USE "ALL INPUT" mode if you are trying to record**

OR: If you are recording, use the "INDIVIDUAL" control setting (bottom left square push button... white), then "toggle" each little switch for each track. Use "INPUT" for recording, and place any already recorded track into "SEL REP" (= "sync" mode).
