London FYE 2017 Summer Reading
Students spending their first semester in London in fall 2017 are not required to read the FYE summer reading required of students coming to the Saratoga Springs campus for fall 2017 (Randall Fuller’s book, The Book That Changed America: How Darwin’s Theory of Evolution Ignited a Nation).
Instead, London FYE students will be asked to read Fuller's The Book That Changed America during winter break as they prepare to come back to campus in spring 2018. All London students will be provided a copy of The Book That Changed America from the FYE office in December 2017.
Only London FYE students assigned to Professor Hodgins seminar have been assigned a special London summer reading related to their studies in London. Student enrolled in Professor Hodgins’ seminar should refer to the email Professor Hodgins sent to their Skidmore email in mid-July regarding her London summer reading. Students assigned to Professor Krefting seminar do not have a London summer reading.
