— 19 — Grand Champion Awards Sponsored by Blue Ribbon Custom Blankets Grand Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the horse accumulating the most points in any one of the following sections: Green Working Hunter; Green Conformation Hunter (not including model); High Performance Hunter and Regular Conformation Hunter (not including model). In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Champion. The rider of the Grand Champion horse during week I will receive a special Saratoga Award , a Lawn jockey/Yardell that will be painted in their preferred barn colors. Grand Amateur Owner Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the Amateur Owner Hunter accumulating the most points in either section. In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Amateur Owner Hunter Champion. The Rider of the horse accumulating the most points in the A/O section during Saratoga Classic I and II will be presented with the Software Memorial Amateur Owner High Point Perpetual Award donated and sponsored by Braswell family. Grand Amateur Owner Hunter 3’3” Champion To be awarded each week to the Amateur Owner Hunter accumulating the most points in either 3’3”section. In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Amateur Owner Hunter Champion. Grand Junior Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the horse accumulating the most points in the Junior Hunter Section. In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared Champion. The winner week I of the Saratoga Classic will be presented with the Blue Hour Perpetual Award , donated by Ms. Patricia T. Brennan ’74. Grand Junior Hunter 3’3” Champion To be awarded each week to the Junior Hunter accumulating the most points in the 3’3” section. In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Junior Hunter Champion. The winner week I of the Saratoga Classic will be presented with the Maryann Malarkey Grand Junior Hunter 3’3” Perpetual Award , donated by Ms. Erina Malarkey ’05. Grand Pony Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the Pony Hunter accumulating the most points in one of the following sections: Green Pony Hunter; Small Pony Hunter; Medium Pony Hunter; Large Pony Hunter. In case of a tie, the pony with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Pony Hunter Champion. The rider week I of the Saratoga Classic will be presented with the Diana Hall Elliott Memorial Perpetual Award , donated and sponsored by Ms. Cathleen Elliott Ellington ’01. Grand Adult Amateur Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the Adult Amateur Hunter accumulating the most points in the Adult Amateur Hunter Section. In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Adult Amateur Hunter Champion. The rider week I of the Saratoga Classic will be presented with the Gary Zook Memorial Perpetual Adult Amateur Hunter Award , d onated by the Kirby Family. Grand Children’s Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the horse or pony accumulating the most points in the Children’s Hunter Section. In case of a tie, the horse or pony with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Children’s Hunter Champion. Grand Thoroughbred Hunter Champion To be awarded each week to the Thoroughbred Hunter accumulating the most points in the Thoroughbred Hunter section. In case of a tie, the horse with the most points over fences shall be declared the Grand Thoroughbred Hunter Champion. The rider of the horse accumulating the most points in the Thoroughbred Hunter section during both weeks I and II of the Saratoga Classic will be presented with the WJL Thoroughbred Perpetual Award, donated by Walter James Lee.
