The ninth annual perpetual award will be presented to the horse and rider combination that accumulates the most points at all four shows competing in the following divisions at SCHS I and SCHS II, and VSF I and VSF II: Amateur Owner Hunter Divisions, Junior Hunter Divisions, Pony Hunter Divisions, Adult Amateur Hunter Divisions, Children’s Hunter Divisions, Modified/Low Children’s and Modified/Low Adult Hunter Divisions, Thoroughbred Hunter and Jumper Divisions, Children’s and Adult Jumper Divisions, Junior and Amateur Owner Jumper Divisions and Short and Long Stirrup Hunter Divisions. Horse/Rider combination needs to be nominated at each show and you may enter more than one combination. No entry fee required. Horse/Rider must compete at both venues in order to be eligible to receive this award. It is not necessary to compete all four weeks. Winner takes all, prizes include but not limited to: Ribbon, trophy, prizes, and recognition. The presentation will take place at VSF Sunday, July 15, 2018 . And More . . .  Equus Foundation Best Performance Competition, Children's/Adult Low and High Jumper Divisions and Classics, $10,000 All In One Jumper Classic, $10,000 Jr/Am/A/O Jumper Section  The Terrapin Hill Farm Excellence in Equitation Award presented to the junior rider that accumulates the most points in classes 313, 314, 315, 316, 317 and 321. (see special events).  The Oughton Amateur Style Award presented Week II, recognizing the amateur rider that exemplifies the best combination of horsemanship, skill, and turnout.  Special awards and prizes for those who don’t necessarily win in the ring—everyone can be a winner in Saratoga!
