Senior Thesis Art Exhibition Opening Reception
The annual studio art majors’ Senior Thesis Art Exhibition takes place May 9-18 at the Tang Teaching Museum. An opening reception is scheduled from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 10. Thirty-three senior studio art majors will display their work as a capstone to their studies at Skidmore.
Join the Workforce Team Challenge
The Workforce Team Challenge, a race supporting the Hudson-Mohawk Road Runners Club and local charities, will take place on Thursday, May 16, in Albany. Register online by Wednesday, May 1. To participate, select Skidmore’s team and fill out all the required information. Do not check out; Skidmore’s team captain, Darren Drabek, will manage payment. Skidmore employee discount at SPAC
As part of Skidmore’s partnership with Saratoga Performing Arts Center (SPAC), all employees are eligible to receive a 20% discount on ticket purchases to Freihofer’s Saratoga Jazz Festival (June 29-30), New York City Ballet (July 9-13), and Philadelphia Orchestra (July 31-Aug. 3) performances. Eclipse glasses donations
Wondering what to do with your solar eclipse glasses? Collection boxes are located in Case lobby by the Information Desk and in the lobby of the JKB Theater. Set up your own collection box and then drop off or send glasses in campus mail to Eunice Ferreira by April 30. Glasses should be free of punctures, scratches, and tears. Donations will be shipped to schoolchildren in South America for an upcoming eclipse.
Skidmore Theater presents: ‘Where Are You Going, Little Horse?’
Written by Rada Moskova and directed by Margarita Blush, “Where Are You Going, Little Horse?” will run through Saturday, April 27, at the JKB Mainstage Theater, with the annual House Party on Saturday, April 27. Tickets for the show, considered one of the gems of Bulgarian puppet theater, are available online.

Bike for free with CDPHP Cycle
Anyone with a skidmore.edu email address can register for CDPHP Cycle by downloading the CDPHP Cycle app and subscribing with a Skidmore email address; submit promo code "Skidmore," enter a credit card for incidentals, and you're ready to ride. The program includes free access to pedal bikes, and e-bikes are free for the first 30 minutes. Please contact the Sustainability Office with questions.
Give+Go move-out donation collection From April 28 to May 18, students are invited to donate non-perishable food, clothes, and gently used home goods to our local nonprofit partners: Backstretch, Trinity Alliance, and Capital City Rescue Mission. The Sustainability Office calls for Skidmore community volunteers to sign up for donation organization, midweek sorting shifts, and senior move-out day. Read more on the Give+Go website.

Alumni Engagement is hiring current students and college-aged children of employees to serve as Reunion ambassadors (Thursday, May 30, to Monday, June 2).
