How to Use the Firewire drives

How to back up or move files using firewire drives.

• Plug the drive into either of the two firewire ports on any computer.
• Wait for the icon to appear on the desktop.
• Double-click on the firewire drive icon.
• Drag the files to be copied from the hard drive into the appropriate folder on the firewire drive.
• IMPORTANT: YOU MUST EJECT THE FIREWIRE DRIVE FROM THE COMPUTER BY DRAGGING ITS ICON TO THE TRASH.
• Once the firewire icon disappears from the desktop, you can unplug the drive.
